Dr Simon Carr

Role

Simon Carr is a Geographer specialising in geomorphology and climate change. He brings to the project research expertise in the application of 3D x-ray computed tomography to visualisation and analysis of soils, sediments and below-ground vegetation, enabling innovative understanding of the links between structure and function within different environmental contexts. He is Co-I on recent and current projects with a total award value of £3.1M (NERC Flocs 2016-20; NERC Resist-UK 2018-21; NSERC 2018-2021; EU-ERDF 2020-2023). Simon is also the PI on the Treescapes Call 3 Knowledge Exchange Project Digital Voices of the Future.
