Dr Samyia Ambreen

Role

Samyia works as a research associate in Education and Social Research Institute in Manchester Metropolitan University. Before joining MMU, she worked as Teaching Fellow in Childhood Studies in the School of Education at the University of Leeds. Her research interests include children’s peer interaction, children’s school experiences with a focus on gender, ethnicity, and religion. Samyia is passionate to use ethnography, participatory and visual methods in research with children and young people in school and home settings.
